Major Duties and Responsibilities: - Design site lighting layouts and verify the lighting levels through calculation software. - Site plans, either in hard copy or electronic (Auto-CAD) format are used to create a lighting design and point by point calculation that is then integrated into the drawing. - Selection of items as per products technical specification. - Coordination with Electrical Engineers, lighting designers, architects and regional sales representatives to clarify specific questions about our products or lighting design concepts. Thus the communication is essential in recommending the correct combination of luminaries, lamp type and design layout. Qualifications Applicants should hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Design or related fields. Preferred courses of study include drafting with Auto-CAD software, industrial design, architectural design, advanced mathematics, and any related lighting education. Proficiency in the use of Auto-CAD, word processing, spreadsheet and operating system software required.
