CAMPER LAUNCHES ITS NEW COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN ?REINVENT YOUR REALITY?

From its very beginning as a brand, graphic communication has been one of the fundamental pillars of Camper. After ?Comfort with Imagination?, ?Imagination can Change the World?, ?Imagine More, Walk More?, ?The Walking Society ? Walk, Don?t Run? and ?Imagination Walks?, Camper initiates a new stage of its visual language with the campaign ?REINVENT YOUR REALITY?.

The new campaign, elaborated by the Barcelona agency La DOMA, challenges everyone to reinvent their daily reality, on their own territory.

?Are you content with reality? We?re not talking about Reality with a capital R, the reality you see on the news that often seems so serious, far away and foreign. We?re talking about the familiar reality that shapes your every day. Your reality.
Think about it. Wouldn?t it be nice to just click your fingers and change it once?
Not because you?re fed up with it, or you hate it, but because everybody needs a change of scenery from time to time ? to see things in a new way. It?s refreshing!
Go on, summon your creativity, add some humour and see what you can come up with?
Have a go? ?reinvent your reality.?
Not as a special, one-off event, but everyday.

The illustration of this concept has developed into a first brand and product communication campaign.

The brand execution shows an ordinary office, ?reinvented? by a couple of employees. They have filled it out with beach sand which, in the image invades the work space and transforms it into a different and without question, more interesting place. The reinvented office has become a dune where a Camper logo lies, an oasis, where occupants? creativity has turned the old slogan ?Sous les pav?s, la plage!?, ?Under the paving stones you?ll find sand?, into a reality. The two colleagues sitting on the sand, continue their normal routine (well, just apparently normal), only slightly surprised by the camera.

In the product execution the shoe plays the leading role, in a humorous reinterpretation of its characteristics: a waterproof shoe in a soda bottle, an extra-light shoe in a table tennis set, an orange model in a citrus mesh bag, another in green in a tin of paint? Products that reinvent their context, their references, their imaginary, in association with great visual richness.

The campaign will appear in prestigious international magazines (Surface, ID, TANK, Frame, Monocle, Dazed & Confused, Nylon, WAD, Fantastic Man, Domus, Paper Magazine, Metal, Wallpaper, Paper Planes to name a few), along with national journals, magazines and key locations of main cities.
